Agency welcomes new hires to scale the agency following strong double-digit growth in 2019.

NASHVILLE, TN – Revive, a Weber Shandwick company, continues its strong growth trajectory by adding four new leaders with deep expertise in health systems and health technology. As a full-service agency focused on the intersection of healthcare delivery, finance, and innovation, Revive has made these additions to support continued expansion of the client roster and extended marketing, communications, and issues/crisis capabilities. The new additions include:

  • Lindsey Thompson, Executive Vice President, Communications
  • Ryan Colaianni, Senior Vice President, Issues/Crisis
  • Bjorn Gunnerud, Senior Vice President, Insights
  • Gale Pryor, Vice President, Content

Lindsey Thompson is responsible for expanding Revive’s Communications Group to strengthen capabilities in earned-first storytelling, interactive content creation, and digital influencer engagement. She will oversee integrated public relations programming for clients, the continued expansion of the agency’s issues and reputation management capability, and internal communications and employee engagement programs. Previously, Lindsey served as Group Senior Vice President at MMC in New York, working on clients such as Johnson & Johnson and Novo Nordisk. She is now based in Nashville.

Ryan Colaianni joins the Revive Nashville office to expand the agency’s issues and reputation management capability alongside Revive’s industry-leading payor/provider issues management group. He previously served as SVP, lead strategist, and client relationship manager at Edelman in Washington, D.C. During his nearly 10 years at Edelman, Ryan led Edelman DC’s higher education practice, working on some of the highest profile crises on college campuses in recent years, inclusive of AMCs. He also led crisis response and reputation recovery offerings for Fortune 500 clients, international clients, private companies, and consumer brands.

Bjorn’s responsibilities will be centered around developing strategy, growth and service line initiatives, and integrated marketing programs for Revive’s hospital and health system clients.

Gale Pryor joins the Revive Boston office to continue advancing the agency’s content strategy and marketing team, with specific subject matter expertise in health data and technology. With a 20-year history of creating content for healthcare, Gale tells stories of impact that engage readers and inspire action. In her prior role at Aetion, the pioneering health data analytics platform, she served as blog editor and lead for content strategy. She has also served as athenahealth’s senior editor for athenaInsight, the digital magazine with 25,000 monthly readers. She has also created content for Harvard Medical School, Boston Children’s Hospital, and other leading institutions. As a writer, editor, and content strategist for innovators, Gale relishes her front-row seat to the transformation of U.S. healthcare.
